Description:

Photo contest about Land Art using maths words
(13/14 years old)

Work's steps:

OUR PUPILS/OUR SCHOOL
Each pupil creates a personal presentation.  Our schools will be presented with photos of pupils.
Then we will send real postcards to our partners.

PHOTOS CONTEST
Teachers create a list of math words in English. Each pupil draws lots for one word.
Then he imagines a scene in a natural environment (forest, beach , grass, etc...). He has to form his word using natural elements (leaves, flowers, stones, wood, sand, etc...).
Moreother, pupils have to place next to the word an etwinning logo, and they can integrate a geometrical tool into the scene (ruler, compasses, set square, or protractor).
Then a picture of the scene is taken. All pictures are sent to the twinspace.
Spanish pupils vote for their three favorite French photos, and vice versa.
