Mathem'alphabet book

Description:

Creation of an alphabet book about the mathematical vocabulary our pupils know (11/13 years old)

Work's steps:

- Each pupil makes a slideshow in order to introduce himself

- Elaboration of a list of references in native language of the vocabulary pupils know

- Translation of this list into English

- Creation of posters for each letter

- Photographs of the posters, creation of a slideshow showing them all, and sharing with other partners

- Each partner fills in a table (containing the English version of the list) using its own language

Expected results:

- to do Maths differently

- to involve pupils'knowledge in Maths and English

- to develop our pupils'creativity
- Great pleasure for all

- Stimulation of pupils

- Improvement of the English language and discovery of Maths vocabulary in other languages
