Creation of Sudomaths games

 (12/13 years old)

Work's steps: 

ACTIVITY 1 - Our pupils :

Presentations through acrostics - Postcards

ACTIVITY 2 - Our School :

Pictures of pupils - Real postcards

ACTIVITY 3 - Our Sudomaths :

Creation of the games and their solutions by pairs, thanks to a text processing, making use of all the math vocabulary pupils know in English. All games are brought out together in an ebook, then printed as a magazine, and given to each pupil.

BONUS ACTIVITIES:

1) Christmas : Pupils prepare a poster all together, and each of them writes on it Christmas wishes for his/her penfriend. The poster is sent to the partners before Christmas. Perhaps we could do a short video of our pupils telling their wishes all together, in English and in Polish/French.

2) Easter : Pupils will create personalized Easter cards for their penfriends.

3) Chat session : We organize a chat session between pupils

Expected results:

- to link Maths and Games creating funny activities
- to improve our pupils'skills in Maths and English
- to use ICT for the creation of several documents and for the communication between pupils
- Having fun with Maths, English and Art
- Encouragement and contribution of pupils
